The Sims 4 Adventure Awaits expansion pack adds Gibbi Point as a new world. This beautiful location is surrounded by streams of water and dynamic weather, and it attracts all sorts of critter, including an array of moths and butterflies.

Completing the Gibbi Point Butterflies & Moths collection is one of the many challenges included with the Adventure Awaits pack for The Sims 4. As they solve the riddles to find the butterflies and moths, they will explore every nook and cranny of Gibbi Point and become acquainted with the locals as well as its lore.

The Gibbi Point Butterflies & Moths collection in The Sims 4 consists of the 14 butterfly and moth types that inhabit Gibbi Point. If players check their Household Collections screen, each butterfly and moth includes a riddle that will give players hints on how to catch them.

Dina Yellow Butterfly	In Crystal Valley, where treasures unfold, miss Dina floats like sun and gold. Spotted in the midday gleam, find this beauty by the miner’s stream. – Common
Glasswing Butterfly	In Wanderwood Wilds’ path near the waterfall’s gleam, a butterfly’s wings shimmer, nearly unseen. Seek in the day’s gentle light amidst the foliage, a translucent sight. – Common
Goliath Silk Moth	In Crystal Valley and Jellyfish Junction, at sun’s fall, a Goliath of moths heeds night’s call. Nightly when most Sims dream, seek this moth where the city lights gleam. – Common

Jorjan Birdwing Butterfly	At a festival where young and old convene, miss butterfly Jorja joins the scene. In purple grace, where meals abound, a butterfly who goes where friends are found. – Uncommon
Magical Origami Butterfly	Crafted in magic, to life it springs, a butterfly of paper spreads its wings. Collect all others to see it thrive, placed in a habitat to come alive. – Rare
Owl Butterfly	In Wanderwood Wilds, by the water’s embrace, owl eyes hide in a leafy place. A tower stands guard near where this mystery lies. Find it before the daylight dies. – Uncommon
Red Admiral Butterfly	Begin with Toshie in Jellyfish Junction’s heart. The Melody of the Geyser is where you start. Investigate and return, then Boulder Strike. Watch the Red Admiral take its flight. – Rare
Richmond Birdwing Butterfly	In Wanderwood Wilds where the Rangers reside, a Birdwing’s fluttering is hard to hide. Searc in bushes, and flowers too, near the station, a black yellow, teal hue. – Common
Sphinx Moth	At the fire festival’s heart, a mysterious sphinx plays its part. Near the flame, in wilderness’s domain, discover this moth where stories reign. – Uncommon

How to Find the Banded King Shoemaker Butterfly in The Sims 4

The Banded King Shoemaker Butterfly resides in Gibbi Point’s Wanderwood Wilds neighborhood. It can be found in the northeastern section of Wanderwood Wilds, beyond the Ranger station, the Chavez-Ralston household, on the other side of the bridge. If players keep heading east, they’ll come across another group of Banded King Shoemaker Butterflies right before reaching the lonesome easel and circling back to Hothead Rock Geyser.

The Cordelian Butterfly can be found along the shoreline of Jellyfish Junction during the daytime.

How to Find the Cryptic Moth in The Sims 4

Catching the Cryptic Moth might take a while, as it requires players to complete various Peculiar Plumbird Quests. Players can begin Plumbird Quests by interacting with the Plumbird’s Nest near the miner’s stream in Crystal Valley.

Once they’ve completed the first three quests, they must return and complete the final quest. Afterward, they have to come back to the nest at night and catch the Cryptic Moth.

How to Find the Glasswing Butterfly in The Sims 4

The Wanderwood Wilds’ waterfall is on the northern end of Gibbi Point. It can be hard to spot in Live Mode, but it is perfectly visible on the world map. Players can follow the stream up north, past the bridge to find the waterfall area. The Glasswing Butterfly spawns between two trees on the eastern side of the bridge in Wanderwood Wilds.

The miner’s stream runs across Crystal Valley, so as long as they look near the stream, they should find plenty of Dina Yellow Butterflies. There are three spawns surrounding the Addam Commune lot, so players can simply travel there and catch them.

How to Find the Grim's-Head Hawkmoth in The Sims 4

The Glow and Flow Festival takes place in Jellyfish Junction during the New Moon, as the water shines bright with a bioluminescent glow. This attracts the Grim’s-Head Hawkmoth. Players will find it near the Underlight Bay in Jellyfish Junction at night whenever there is a new New Moon.

To catch the Jelly Butterfly in The Sims 4, players have to visit the Electric Lagoon in Crystal Valley and catch a Jellyfish. Next, they must open their inventory and select Place in World. Two Jelly Butterflies will then appear around the player.

The Magical Origami Butterfly is the last one that players will have to obtain in order to complete the Gibbi Point Butterflies & Moths collection in The Sims 4. To get it, players will have to catch all other 13 butterflies. Then, they must reach Papercraft Skill Level 2 and craft the Magical Origami Butterfly.

After this, they must go home, purchase an habitat for the butterfly and drag it from their inventory into the habitat. This will make it come to live, and the collection will be completed.

How to Find the Owl Butterfly in The Sims 4

The hermit ranger’s tower is located by Camp Gibbi Gibbi. If players travel to Camp Gibbi Gibbi and follow the shore up north, they will see it through the fog. Between the shore and the ranger station is where they will be able to find the Owl Butterfly. However, players must make sure they look for this butterfly while there is still some daylight left.

How to Find the Red Admiral Butterfly in The Sims 4

The Red Admiral Butterfly only appears when the geyser in Wanderwood Wilds spits out fire. Players can learn how to do this by talking to Toshie Akamine in Jelly Junction and starting the Melody of the Geyser quest.

They willl have to inquire Toshie about the lore of Gibbi Point and investigate the Story Map and the Ranger Station before they’re eventually led to a round boulder near Hothead Rock Geyser. After the geyser has spits out fire, the Red Admiral Butterfly will appear.

The ‘Round the Fire Festival takes place in Wanderwood Wilds between 7 PM and 2 AM on the weekends. Players must head there in order to catch the Sphinx Moth, as it can only be located at the venue during the festival.
